System Administrators receive an email that reads, "An environment in your infrastructure has been removed", but no system administrators report removing the configuration.
Additionally, the user who set up the connection is logged in the devops_infrastructure.csv log as the user who removed the connection. An HTTP 404 is also observed at /suite/devops-infrastructure/handlers in the tomcat-access.log of the remote environment:
/suite/devops-infrastructure/handlers
YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS /suite/devops-infrastructure/handlers - 404 X.XXX
This issue has been hotfixed via AN-190319 in the following versions:
With this fix, when Appian receives a HTTP 404 at the /suite/devops-infrastructure/handlers url, Appian will automatically disable the connected environment instead of removing it.
Re-add the connected environment in the Admin Console.
Apply the latest hotfix to your Appian installation or upgrade to the latest version of Appian.
This article applies to Appian 19.1 through Appian 21.4.
