KB-2237 Users are unable to login after moving to an application server cluster

Symptoms

• Users are unable to login with valid credentials after converting a standalone environment to high availability or after setting up an application server cluster.
• The login page refreshes after entering the credentials and displays the login page again.

Cause

This can happen if the Tomcat clustering is not setup correctly.

Action

Configure Tomcat clustering when the environment is setup with multiple application servers as per the documentation.

Affected Versions

This article applies to Appian 18.3 and later.
