KB-2291 Process models do not open if the site banner contains new line characters

This issue has been resolved in an Appian hotfix/new Appian version. Please apply the latest hotfix to your Appian installation or upgrade to the latest version of Appian.

Symptoms

When trying to open any process model, the process model will be stuck on the loading screen.

Cause

This issue has been resolved via AN-245400 in Appian 24.4.

Action

Upgrade to the latest version of Appian.

Workaround

Eliminate any new line characters within the Site-Wide Banner.

Affected Versions

This article applies to Appian versions between 23.4 and 24.3.
