KB-1208 "Unable to start the following plugins due to timeout while waiting for plugin to enable: [plugin_name]" error thrown during application server startup

Symptoms

When the application server is started, the following error is seen in the application server log:

ERROR com.atlassian.plugin.manager.PluginEnabler - Unable to start the following plugins due to timeout while waiting for plugin to enable: <plugin_name>

Cause

The plug-in failed to deploy on the application server's startup.

Action

1. Re-deploy the plug-in by following the steps in Appian Plug-ins.
2. Check the application server log to ensure that the plug-in has been installed successfully.
