KB-1225 "The entry is no longer available" error thrown when opening News posts

Symptoms

News posts flash on the screen and users receive an error in Tempo:

The entry is no longer available.

An error was encountered while processing your request.

The issue is narrowed down to a particular news feed. Unsubscribing from the news feed resolves the issue.

Cause

The root cause is the use of rp!id in the title of the record type associated with the news feed entry.

Action

Change rp!id to rf!id, which is the recommended method.
