KB-1378 fn!urlforrecord() throws error when recordId rule input is null

Symptoms

When the rule input for a recordId value is null fn!urlforrecord errors out with the following message: 

Expression evaluation error in rule 'rule_name' at function fn!urlforrecord [line 2]: Error evaluating function fn!urlforrecord: null

Cause

This issue has been addressed via AN-86452 in the following Appian versions:

• Appian 17.1 Hotfix Package E
• Appian 17.2 Hotfix Package A
• Appian 17.3

Action

Apply the latest hotfix to your Appian installation or upgrade to the latest version of Appian.
