KB-1576 Deleting a News Feed entry from Tempo throws a 500 error when using Weblogic application server


Deleting a News Feed entry from Tempo generates an error of the following type in the <APPIAN_HOME>/logs/application-server.log, when using Weblogic as the application server:

Following error is observed on Tempo after deleting the News Feed entry:

An internal error has occurred. The page could not be loaded. [HTTP Code=500] (APNX-1-4279-001)


This issue has been reported to the Appian Product Team. The reference number for this issue is AN-57370.


No action required. The News Feed entry does get deleted, which can be confirmed with a page refresh.

This article applies to all versions of Appian using Weblogic as an application server.
