Address Validation and Standardization Utility

Overview

In this customer-oriented world, one of the pre-requisites to ensure top-notch customer service is having accurate and up-to-date information about your clients. Physical address is one of the key components that makes up customer identity. Approximately 20% of addresses entered online contain errors - spelling mistakes, wrong house numbers, incorrect postal codes, formatting errors that don’t comply with a country’s postal regulations. This can result in late or undeliverable shipments, a big and costly concern for companies doing business domestically and across borders.

Having clean, standard and accurate physical addresses has following benefits:

  • Saves time and money on returned shipments, undeliverable packages and failed delivery fees
  • Enhances the effectiveness of data analytics. Accurate data can be used in location analytics to see where your customers are based
  • Improves customer service and brand perception
  • Improves the effectiveness of direct marketing activities
