Appian Community and Appian Academy are being upgraded. As a part of the upgrade, Appian Community is currently in read-only mode, and user registration is disabled until August 3. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but a more secure, stable, and performant Community experience is coming soon!
The new Appian Community launches August 3, followed by Appian Academy on August 7. Key Features & Functionality
Hi, It appears that the plugin uses an older version of Log4J - 1.2.17. Can you please release a version of the plugin with the log4J plugin upgraded to 2.15? This is to counter the exploit of vulnerability due to - CVE-2021-44228
Guys... Appian support has confirmed that the vulnerability applies only to log4J 2.x and since this plugin 1.x it shouldn't be an issue.
Hi arjunvs, Could please let me know how you have determined that plugin is using older version of log4J? Based on my understanding java files in this plugin jar have import command , so it imports from the server. as long as your server is patched it should refer to latest patched version of log4j. is that not the case?
I have a client using this plugin and would require this update as soon as possible.
