Overview
The Groundswell Calendar Display, powered by ToastUI, gives designers the ability to quickly have a modern calendar display in their sites and dashboards with the simplicity of a single component. The dense, versatile display supports different calendar views with styling matching your site’s accent color. Example interfaces and utility rules are attached, which demonstrate usage and features of the component.
Key Features & Functionality
When we reviewed the calendar in console mode of the browser, we could see that the component was unable to get to the location of the calendar display code. So, we had to update the permissions of the folders housing the calendar data. That made the calendar show as expected in our on prem environment. Take care.
I wanted to update this in case it helps someone out that is having the same issue. Hello, I have found this component to be very useful. One issue I'm running into though. When I used it on cloud, it shows up fine and works, when I try to use it on premise, it doesn't show up at all. At first it said "Missing system configuration. This component requires the dynamic content domain to be properly configured. Contact your system administrator.", so my admin made the update and I get no error. The trouble is, I don't see the component either. It is just blank space. Am I missing some configuration I need to tell my admin to do? Thanks for any help.
hello, i am having a problem with this component, im trying to use the "dayNames" parameter to change the week naming format, but it doesnt seem to work, in the documentation https://nhn.github.io/tui.calendar/latest/MonthOptions it appear as an option, im assuming this documentation is generic and not specific for appian and most of the features are not implemented? i need a way to make the font smaller or shorter. thank you
I am having an issue with the calendar not displaying on a on-premise Appian environment. I have the same version of the plugin and code on a Appian cloud environment and it is working fine. Any idea on how I should debug this? Thanks.
Hi prashantm206, to deploy to on-premise environments copy the component zip into the APPIAN_INSTALL/_admin/plugins/ directory docs.appian.com/.../Appian_Plug-ins.html
Hello, Add Plugin in Admin Console
Please direct me how can i import this to our on-premise environment
Hello, I am Working on calendar events and used same Interface but i need to show the events which is saved in the DB. Can you suggest me how to to that?
The examples in the provided documentation are the properties we considered most important for the first release, and the ones that we tested and tweaked as part of this release. However, as you noted, the underlying JS library does support more attributes. The full list and what they do is here: https://nhn.github.io/tui.calendar/latest/Schedule. Your results may vary, either style-wise or technically, based on which ones you want to apply as we did not test all these with the current version. If there are specific attributes you'd like to request us to officially incude in this component, let us know and we can put on our backlog.
