CMF: Order Management

Overview

Appian’s Order Management application, part of Appian’s Case Management Framework, provides tools for both order detail and order management (i.e., place, process and ship), enabling better understanding and management of customer orders, improved tracking and inventory management, and easier resolution of customer service requests.

Key Features & Functionality

Order management captures order:

  • Placement (capture, order number and document, newsfeed and notification)
  • Processing (preparing, verifying inventory, updating)
  • Shipment (confirm tracking number, shipping information, updating)

All components are meant to be reusable and can be customized to specific organizational requirements.
