FitNesse for Appian

Overview

FitNesse for Appian is a client-side tool that makes it easy to create automated tests on the Appian platform. Create test scripts that will run Appian as if a user was clicking through the application and filling out data. FitNesse for Appian includes easy instructions to get you started.

Note: Java 11 required for plugin version 23.4

I am brand new to FitnessAutomation unable to write login scenario itself as there are no sample codes much. kindly help me.

Good day! Any of you having issues locating and interacting with Dropdowns? Specifically getting the values selected on a dropdown.

For example, you are trying to get the value from a dropdown using getFieldValue or even using verifyFieldContainsValue, these both return an error saying "Object not found: Field contains - ... "

Has there been a mixup when zipping the files?

Automated Testing - 22.4.zip is not a valid Appian application, and its contents are very similar to fitnesse-for-appian-22.4.zip

Where do you find the "Automated Testing - XX.X.zip" application file? I am trying to run the sample test provided with the plugin.

Hi Madhavi,

Looks like you missed to add login setup before trying to login. Also, make sure associated password for the user is provided in the configs/users.properties file.

Configure custom login page fields:

setup login with username field<field ID/Name/Value attribute>and password field<field ID/Name/Value attribute>and login button<field ID/Name/Value/Inner Text attribute>
