Organization Chart Component

Overview

An organizational chart displays a relationship hierarchy that forms the internal structure of an organization or company. The employees are represented by boxes including photos and additional employee information like id, contact, email etc. Straight or elbowed lines link the levels together. a!orgChartDisplayField() component is used to create a clear visual depiction of the employee directory. It can display the hierarchy and ranks of different people, jobs, and departments that make up the organization in Appian.

Key Features & Functionality

  1. Theme Color - To add colors to the boxes and text making it more readable.
  2. Fields - To display additional employee information in the box.
  3. Zoom and shrink option - To zoom in and out of the organization chart to view it closer or farther.
  4. Node Data - To provide values to the fields defined.

  • For some reason, this component is not available to install directly into a cloud environment via the admin console. I have checked multiple environments - both client-side and internally. The badge component on the right indicates that this component IS cloud approved. Could you go through Appian support to figure out why this is happening?
