Overview
The Rich Text Editor Component can be used on Appian interfaces where you want to show the rich text information in readable format to the end user. We can use the component to show it as an email subject typing interface.
With this component you can add images, customize tables etc. This also has a functionality called placeholders using which you can use the same information in multiple items in the editor without retyping.Additionally it allows uploading of images which get stored in the specified Appian folder (requires separate install of the Rich Text Editor Connected System Plug-in).

I am just trying this component, it seem good but I have a cors issue with image loaded. An idea ?
Thanks in advance
Is anyone having issues where hyperlinks won't open?
When allowImageUpload is set to false, the image upload tool still appears in the toolbar. This isn't a good user experience, to provide a tool that won't work. Can the tool please be hidden is image upload is not allowed?
Hi davidh0020,
Yes, the library doesn't support Read-only on mobile.
Weirdly editing works but read-only isn't...
Any news on when this component will work on Appian Mobile? Currently, the field simply displays an open book icon when trying to load the rich text via the Appian app but the text never loads in.
Hello ivan.alburquerque,
We tried to reproduce the issue but the deployment is working fine. Please raise the Appian support ticket to address the issue.
I cannot import the new update "The specified file does not contain a valid package and cannot be imported. (APNX-1-4154-000)"
Hi there, we have been using your plugin, but had an error which apparently is fixed in v1.0.2, but we cannot import the new plugin. We get "The specified file does not contain a valid package and cannot be imported. (APNX-1-4154-000)" what can we do in that case?
