Twilio Chat Component

Overview

The Component allows you to send and receive messages to other Appian users, show online users and also allows to create view and edit group conversations between other members

Key Features & Functionality

We can see whether the user is online or offline.
We can see the number of unread messages near each chat (semi-real time).
Group chat option is available. By default one group will be created for all the users provided in the input.
In addition to the default group, we can also create, edit and delete our own custom groups with the users provided in the input.
We can provide the job role of the person that we chat with.
The timestamp and sender of the message will be shown in each message.
Sender and receiver messages are differentiated with different UI.
We can split the conversation users into two parts with search functionality.
