User Initials Avatar

The features provided by this utility are now available out of the box (OOTB) in Appian 26.3. For more information, refer to the User Image documentation.

Overview

Many organizations will create Appian user accounts but often fail to populate a user's profile picture. As a result when a designer wants to display a profile image on an interface, many of the user images display the Appian system default profile picture. This application allows users to replace this default profile picture image with the User's first and/or last name initials.
