Work Notifier

Overview

Vuram's Work Notifier is an application that can be used to get automated emails with the list of pending tasks in a user’s queue in a predetermined interval. Manage your work items via email without even logging in to the system with Vuram’s easy to understand and customizable solution.

  • This application allows organizations to create multiple notifications, based on the requirements across various business and non business units.
  • The application also allows users to update their email subject, message, recipients, sender name & sender email address for each notification as required.
  • Users can also change the frequency in which they want to receive the notifications.
  • Multiple notifications can be stopped and restarted in bulk at any given point of time.

Key Features & Functionality

  1. Create New Notifications: This tab provides options to create a new notification. The user can select the notification frequency (Daily/weekly/monthly) and enter the date and time as required. The user can view all the details entered and can navigate back and make changes as needed.
  2. Notification Details (Records) : All the notifications created through this application will be listed here. User can filter by Trigger Interval (Daily/weekly/monthly), Status, Created On and Created By.
  3. My Tasks: The My Tasks page gives a list of tasks that are present in the user’s queue. The user can navigate to the task from this page and complete it. This way the user can easily access the tasks within the application itself anytime.
  4. Related Actions:
    • Update Notification: Update the created notifications by clicking on ‘Update Notification’.
    • Stop Notification: Stop the created notification by clicking on the ‘Stop Notification’ button. After this, no notification will be sent to the user unless the user restart it.
    • Restart Notification: Restart the created notifications by clicking on the ‘Restart Notification’ button. The user can edit details already present and restart the notifications by specifying the new date until which the user wants to receive the emails.
  5. Bulk Actions: Multiple notifications can be stopped or restarted at once at any given point of time using these actions.
    • Stop Work Notifications: The user can just click on the stop checkbox and enter the comments for all the notifications that the user wishes to stop.
    • Restart Work Notifications: The user can just click on the restart checkbox and enter the comments for all the notifications that the user wishes to restart.
