Username changes

Hi Melwyn,

If Melwyn is present in your environment you cannot create another user with username melwyn. It will throw error "This username is not available". And as far as I know usernames cannot be modified once created.

You can do case insensitive search .

AS you mentioned, while creating a new user account with different case is not allowed as it will throws validation "The username is not available". However if i logins with different case, it doesn't allows me to it as username is case sensitive.For instance: "Melwyn" account cannot be logged using "melwyn". so I want the username to be renamed/changed. I am not sure is there any way to modify/rename it.

There is currently no way to modify an existing username and while the username is case-sensitive when entering credentials, it is case insensitive when adding new users.
