I've 20 plus groups defined in my application - which over time have been populated with the user population. As people have moved roles / left the company etc - has resulted in alot of the membership's being incorrect. I'd like to audit this and the first step would be to view which users are assigned to which groups.
I know I can view the group and membership via designer, but that's only giving me 25 users at a time and it's a view I can't really do anything with.
Is there anyway to export this information out of Appian and ideally into a CSV file ?

Have you tried simply using the a!groupMembers() function? This supports paging as well as filtering down to direct members of "user" type, which I assume you'd want. You could then do anything you want with the results, like exporting to CSV.
I'd also recommend looking at the User and Group Management application in the AppMarket. This app has several dashboards / records that will display users that belong to each group - plus, you can reassign users that are in the incorrect groups.

the link is different now but it looks like it's findable just by searching the name in the appMarket:
