Hi all,
I followed the Step-by-Step guide for installation of Appian 7.8, but now, when I start jBoss, I have some warnings of missing dependencies (i.e. WARN [org.jboss.as.server.deployment] (MSC service thread 1-7) JBAS015960: Class Path entry slf4j-api-1.6.4.jar in /C:/appian/ear/suite.ear/lib/atlassian-plugins-main-2.12.3.jar does not point to a valid jar for a Class-Path reference.).
I have seen that the referenced jar actually miss in my installation folder, instead there is a (probably) newer version of each library (i.e. instead of the slf4j-api-1.6.4.jar I have the slf4j-api-1.7.0.jar). This version is the same that is used by my older installation of Appian 7.7.
I attach the entire list of warnings i can see in my server log.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Was it a upgrade or a clean 7.8 install?

Hi rayudua, my need was migrating from Appian 7.7 to Appian 7.8. I installed the 7.8 version from new, I just reused the appian home path, the databases and some configuration files as suggested in migration guide.

hi pasquale , in the jboss log i can see just WARN but no ERROR. when you completed the migration does the application server started ? or you have startup issue ?

Hi Stephane, application server started, I can see the Administration Console. When I try to reach the link of /suite/tempo or suite/designer I have the 404 page and the error JBWEB000069: description JBWEB000124: The requested resource is not available.

Can you please make sure whether you have done the configuration to deploy search server ear(ss.ear). From log it seems that there is issue in ss.ear deployment.
In this link forum.appian.com/.../Configuring_JBoss.html under "Required Configurations" and "Add the Deployment Descriptor" section you can find instructions to deploy ss.ear.

Hi jyotisha, sorry for late...we solved the issue with a new complete and clean installation of Appian 7.8. Unfortunately, we couldn't figure out what we missed the first time.
