Hi all,
I followed the Step-by-Step guide for installation of Appian 7.8, but now, when I start jBoss, I have some warnings of missing dependencies (i.e. WARN [org.jboss.as.server.deployment] (MSC service thread 1-7) JBAS015960: Class Path entry slf4j-api-1.6.4.jar in /C:/appian/ear/suite.ear/lib/atlassian-plugins-main-2.12.3.jar does not point to a valid jar for a Class-Path reference.).
I have seen that the referenced jar actually miss in my installation folder, instead there is a (probably) newer version of each library (i.e. instead of the slf4j-api-1.6.4.jar I have the slf4j-api-1.7.0.jar). This version is the same that is used by my older installation of Appian 7.7.
I attach the entire list of warnings i can see in my server log.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Can you please make sure whether you have done the configuration to deploy search server ear(ss.ear). From log it seems that there is issue in ss.ear deployment.
In this link forum.appian.com/.../Configuring_JBoss.html under "Required Configurations" and "Add the Deployment Descriptor" section you can find instructions to deploy ss.ear.
