I am having trouble sending emails in our 7.8 instance using the following documentation forum.appian.com/.../Mail_Server_Setup.html. I have updated the password.properties with my SMTP user password and local.properties (ACM) accordingly and have verified the credentials of the SMTP user . We are using SES which is Amazon Web Services SMTP server, has anyone else used SES with appian to send email? The root cause looks to be "530 Authentication required". Am I missing any other necessary configuration?. email portion of local.properties and log attached.

I had this working in an earlier version of Appian (7.6 or 7.7), and ran into the same issue with 7.8. I ended up abandoning it and switching to another email server on my local network.
