I am having trouble sending emails in our 7.8 instance using the following documentation forum.appian.com/.../Mail_Server_Setup.html. I have updated the password.properties with my SMTP user password and local.properties (ACM) accordingly and have verified the credentials of the SMTP user . We are using SES which is Amazon Web Services SMTP server, has anyone else used SES with appian to send email? The root cause looks to be "530 Authentication required". Am I missing any other necessary configuration?. email portion of local.properties and log attached.

It does look like an issue with your authentication settings. To narrow down the root cause, you could look at the steps here: forum.appian.com/.../Mail_Server_Setup.html
