What do you have under C:\\appian79\\bin\\jboss\\jboss-eap-6.3\\standalone\\deployments?

The error seems to be complaining about the "appian-mysql-ds.xml.dev" file, which should be in the Repository, but not in the <JBOSS_HOME>\\jboss-eap-6.3\\standalone\\deployments

the repository only has the ear folder....does not have anything related to jboss.....jboss is only on the main folder where I initially installed appian

Is the MySQL server on the same machine as the appian install?

Then i suspect Alok is right - have a look at the -ds file in the <repository>/bin/jboss/jboss-eap[version]/standalone/deployments/ fodler (or whatever the windows equivalents is.

This of course assumes you're using the configuration script...

I don't want to run the repository apian.....I am just trying to run the main installation of apian.....I shouldn't have used the configure.bat to create a new environment....but I want to run the main apian and all files have been configured correctly especially the apian-ds.xml file.....I don't know why the log is showing the repository related files in it....is there any configuration that I can do to avoid jboss from looking at the repository....the standalone.conf.bat is looking at the main installation of appian's ear directory.....

apian-MySQL-ds.xml, apian-MySQL-ds.xml.dev, apian-MySQL-ds.xml.dev.dodeploy, apian-MySQL-ds.xml.dodeploy

As Alok mentioned, you should not have "appian-mysql-ds.xml.dev" in that directory
