I am trying to implement High Availability in appian,
How can we make sure that the timer event based processes handled in this situation.
For e.g Primary appian on machine A, Backup appian running on machine B.
Timer based set in Primary appian (machine A) then what happens if appian goes down on Machine A
then how timer based processes get triggered on Machine B.
Response is appreciated...

AS I said before data is in sync all the time. There's no concept of a timer being triggered on a single machine. There's a concept of transaction, the transaction to start the timer is a shared transaction which means that it'll be triggered as long as at least one engine server is up
