The 16.1 documentation included a Linux quick start guide, which was arguably the most valuable source for initial server configuration. However, the 16.2 documentation includes a Windows quick start guide but no Linux quick start guide - why?

Also upgrade from 16.1 to 16.2 should be as simple as possible but it's tons of pages and no upgrade script.
manual steps and manual checking ,backing up and again re configuring things
Hope Appian can make lives of admins easier and equally concentrate like they do saying zero or low code development. I am waiting to hear from my admins that it's easy and no surprises. Will update as we do it.

@Jim yep found the same; a 16.1 repository works just fine with 16.2.
@Eduarado Thanks - would be good to know why it's not there? Plenty of people use Linux for local installs as far as I know, so it seems strange to deprecate a guide - I assume it's just an omission.

We have logged an enhancement internally to merge the Linux and Windows guides into a single guide. After reviewing the guides in 16.1, there isn't much of a difference between the two guides beyond example file paths and screenshots, so the steps in the Windows guide can be adapted to Linux installations with little effort.

Jims and Philb , good to know that no config changes are required. Waiting to get our environments next week with 16.2
