in Appian 7.5, on Admin console, Third party Credetails not Appearing

Maybe check your User has the same permissions in Production? Or maybe on your side, the option was disabled for Prod?

hey Sally, The user is admin in all the environments. I am not sure how the option can be disabled or enabled. We can't even see the link "Third Party Credentials".

You are running a very old version of Appian that does not have the newest features you are mentioning.

Third Party credentials were released on 7.8 forum.appian.com/.../Appian_Administration_Console.html

Before Appian 7.8, the only available option was Branding

Eduardo, I am not sure how but in our Dev, we can see two options one is branding & other is Third party credentials & for that Appian version showing is 7.5. Also, we wanted to use this to set up third party credentials for SFTP plugin. If this page is not available in 7.5, then in 7.5 how can we set the third party credentials?

Easy way to check:

1. Remote desktop to the servers
2. Compare <APPIAN_HOME>\\runtime_ear\\suite.ear\\conf\\build.info to see how different the server versions are in terms of Appian.

You cannot use third party credentials in 7.5.

In that case, how can we use SFTP plugin in 7.5? This plugin is compatible for 7.5

Long story short: This plug-in was not originally designed to use the third party credentials, therefore it was compatible with 7.5.

When third party credentials went live, the author improved the security of the plug-in by including the ability to use third party credentials and made them mandatory. This means the latest version is NOT compatible with 7.5 anymore.

You should consider upgrading. Appian 7.5 is no longer supported which means that you're missing any future patches and updates.

You'll have to use the source code of this plug-in and build your own if you cannot use third party credentials.

But this plugin is compatible for 7.5 as per documentation. So is it like some bad communication?
