JBOSS not starting

Hello, I am starting JBOSS after upgrading from 16.1 to 16.3. Looking at my server log, an error is thrown because WEB-INF/conf/cache/cache-config.xml "cannot be opened because it does not exist". However, this file does exist! Attaching the server log; advice is appreciated!

Next, check the file/folder permissions on the WEB-INF directory, folders and files have modify, read, write and execute.
If they the above are fine, please provide a list of all custom plugins in the environment.

Verified read/write/execute permissions. There are no plugins in the environment.

Hi,
Can you try to provide full control permission to complete Appian folder, and run JBoss as administrator ...

I am having the same issue and have tried reinstalling 16.3 several different ways. Was this solved?

Hi all, I reinstalled 16.3 and this issue resolved itself. I believe it was due to an error placing the web.xml file. Thanks all.

@andrewl657, if you are using the Configure Script, make sure you place all the config files (ds, custom.properties, web, standalone, module) properly in the repo. That was what I did differently during my second install and it worked.

when you say 'place all the config files properly', do you mean just make sure they're a part of repo? Or that they're configured a particular way for 16.3? Thanks for the info so far.

Both--make sure they're in there and that they're configured properly (correct path for Appian home directory, any datasource changes, etc)
