Appian Community and Appian Academy are being upgraded. As a part of the upgrade, Appian Community is currently in read-only mode, and user registration is disabled until August 3. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but a more secure, stable, and performant Community experience is coming soon!
The new Appian Community launches August 3, followed by Appian Academy on August 7. During the migration, Appian Community Edition, Appian Academy, Documentation, Certifications, Instructor-led Customer Training, Partner Sales Training & Accreditation, and Forum (for Appian Partners and Customers only) will remain available.
Hello!
I just want to know if it even possible modify this menu:
Because we need a navigation tag (role=”navigation” ) or something similar and more accesibility control, but we don't find anything.
Discussion posts and replies are publicly visible
You cannot modify this menu directly. It will always show the site a user has access to.
What exactly do you want to achieve?
You cannot modify the style of it but you can modify the content of it based on the groups you add yourself in.
Of course!
The main reason to know if this menu (appian native component) achieves the accesibility criteria for an accesibilty evaluation.
If you have an accessibility issue with the nav menu, I would encourage you to contact Appian Support.
AFAIK Appian is doing a pretty good job in supporting accessibility. Either do a test or contact Appian for details.
The main issue it has an accesibility seal or something similar? it could be really helpfull
I don't understand your question.
Technically applications developed in Appian should be WCAG 2.1 Level-AA if you follow best practices. If there is an issue you need addresses, I encourage you to contact Appian Support.
