Hi All,
I was wondering if you could help, i have taken over a mini project from experienced Appian dev's to make minor adjustments to the application before re-testing. Part of this i needed to create a record type and save it into a data entity. I have gone into the data entity and added the new data entity and hit verify and it is coming up with an error. Not to do with the work i have personally completed but with the data someone else has completed and as such it won't let me save. The part that is throwing me out is the part about it expecting double??? it's a number and i am not sure what to do but now i am stuck with what i am doing....
any advise would be gratefully appreciated as my training was over 2 months ago and this is really the first time i have had a chance to start some in depth work....
thank you
sarah

Hi Sarah,
Delete your cdt and again create cdt by using option "Create from database table or view"
the data in the database isn't correct, the requirements have changed since the orginal developers created this application. Is that the easier way?
you need to create a new cdt with same name as old once
i will try that even though the error has now changed, and hopefully it will work...
can you share it please
the latest error is above
download your XSD and open it in notepad++ and search for text "asys".
is that from the data store entity where i download the ddl file? or am i looking in the wrong place?
open your cdt ,in top right side you will find settings drop down, their you will find option like "Download XSD"
oh good i was in the right area, it shows like this:
create table `PLM_View_CapturedLockData` ( `id` DOUBLE not null, `asys` integer, `localauthority` varchar(50),
and this is the new error...
i was hoping to not have anymore?
