Using a restful service in a Record

Has anyone used a restful service in a Record and, if so, what did you put in the "Data Type" field in the "Data" section to resolve the problem with no CDT being available ?

Are you using a service-backed record? If so. have you followed this through? forum.appian.com/.../Service-Backed_Record_Tutorial.html
