is there a limit for amount of groups that can be created

Hi, 
 Is there a limit as to the amount of groups that can be created in a cloud environment? We are looking at creating over 50,000 groups.

There's nothing specific to Appian Cloud. If there was a limitation (which there isn't) it'd come from the base product docs.appian.com/.../Creating_Groups.html .

There is no group limit.

Hi garym there are no such limitations, but if we are operating with 1000's of groups and trying to do some operation over that, you can expect performance issues. However if you upgrade your server hardware /infrastructure configurations, performance issue might get resolve. 
 
But in these cases, it's always better to maintain group details specific to one application in db, so that you can query and get the required group whenever you need.

Hello Gary, You will not encounter any limit on the number of groups that you can create.
