We have been told of a new record and report feature in version 7.3 that allows us to pull the information directly from database or web service rather than through process instance. The question is what would be the best strategy to migrate our existing reports that are currently set based on the data on the process instances to fit into the new record based? we are currently running version 6.6.1 and looking to upgrade to 7.3. What are the general steps involved in managing this conversion? Is there any tool available to convert the process report to become record based? Thx for the suggestions beforehand....

There is a plug-in called Get Report Content Expressions that would allow you to then reference the generated data in tempo report.

Thank you Patty & Elizabeth for the suggestions. With the portal to SAIL plugin, I am assuming that it will create a process instance backed record type by default. Is this correct?
