Keep in mind that the tempo forms give you cross browser support and not just mobile availability. That said, I believe Sathya is stating to not use tabs and instead break what you want in a tab into separate user input tasks. Then chain them together and also allow the person to step back. This will allow them to navigate forwards and backwards to see the different pieces of information.
