HI everyone, I’m having a nested CDT that takes quite some times to query data. Thus, I though replacing it with query sync records using relationships between them can be a more time efficient solution. Hi everyone! I last worked with Appian in 2023 for around 9 months, and I’m starting my Appian learning journey again today. Could you please share what major changes, new features, or development approaches have been introduced since then?

I have created the Table as shown above. When I am trying to create the Interface from FORM DATA TYPE  by selecting the BUILDER, Iam not able to find my table name in the drop down as shown in below SC.What will be the reason.

The Appian environment language was switched from English to Spanish via the console. The problem is that label names have now disappeared from the processes, and the interfaces included in "User Input Tasks" have vanished. Why is this happening, and how can it be fixed—given that the language must remain Spanish (we cannot revert to English)? I have 90 processes; is there an automated way to handle this?

HI , on email smart service “from” dropdown in addition to the options specified in documentation there is also 2 entries that are environment specific (ie they are correctly updated when i deploy to a different environment.) Where is the associated email address of these email  displays stored. I can’t find it in the custom.properties file or in admin console.  Thanks very much

Hi Everyone,I have configured my Claude account with Appian Dev MCP in my Appian environment. I’m now able to create, update, read, and delete applications and their objects using natural language through Claude.I would like to understand how these Dev MCP interactions are audited in the Appian environment.Currently, I can see that the Design Object Logs capture object creations and modifications performed through MCP, along with manual changes made through the Appian Designer.System Logs --> audit/  --> design_objects.csvIs there a separate log or audit mechanism specifically for tracking Dev MCP interactions? If so, could someone please point me to where I can access or configure these logs?Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi everyone,I am trying to implement a seamless "Audit and Redirect" feature across different Appian sites in the same environment. As a developer, I do not have direct access to all the target sites, so I am storing their URLs dynamically in a database lookup table.My Current Approach:From an interface, the user clicks a link component. This invokes an Integration object that calls a custom POST Web API. The Web API triggers a!startProcess() to write the audit data to a table. Upon process start (onSuccess), the Web API attempts to perform a HTTP 302 redirect by passing the target lookup URL into the Location header. The Issue:The audit data is successfully captured in the database table every time. Hi , We are working with email data where the email body can contain around 46,000 characters. In Microsoft SQL Server, the complete email body is stored and displayed correctly within a single row.However, when we export the query results to a CSV file, some email bodies are getting split across multiple lines in the CSV output. This appears to happen only for certain emails containing large amounts of text, line breaks, or special formatting.Has anyone encountered a similar issue when exporting large text fields from SQL Server?Is this expected CSV behaviour due to embedded line breaks? Are there any recommended approaches to preserve the email body as a single field during export? Has anyone faced related challenges when importing such CSV data into Appian?Any insights or best practices would be appreciated.Thanks!

We have Appian on-premise and we have a requirement to create a page where external users can access it (users are not Appian Users) and Appian Portals are the best to achieve it. However, being On-premise, the portals are disabled and we are not able to enable the portals. Any suggestions or alternatives to achieve the requirement.

Hi All,I have a requirement like theuser can map multiple fleet types & cost for 1 equipment. we are displaying the picker field where the user will choose equipmentId from some master table, they can select 1 equipmentid at a time. then an editable grid will be displayed below, to add/modify fleet types & cost.Now the challenge is i am getting index issue during save, If there are any existing mapping for respective equipment id, then when user selects the same equipmentId from picker, then editable grid should display existing mappings and user can add new rows also. If not, then user can add new mappings. For existing mapping they can change the cost alone or JE type alone, which needs to refreshed. Also when they not change the cost type, then instead of adding new row in DB, update in existing row for other field like dollar amount,updated by,updated On If they removed existing cost type, then change is_Active = 0 for those rows in DB.Need like below screenshot, and i have

Hi,  We have a requirement to migrate approximately 18 million records from an external system into an Appian Cloud database.We are currently considering the following approaches: Export data from the source system and import it directly into the Appian Cloud database. However, we noticed there appears to be a file size limitation (around 2 MB per import file), which may make this approach challenging for such a large volume of data. Use an Appian Process Model with the "Import CSV to Database" Smart Service to load the data in batches. I would appreciate guidance from anyone who has handled a similar large-scale migration:Are there any practical limitations or performance considerations when using the Import CSV to Database Smart Service for very large datasets? Hi Everyone, I am facing an issue while creating an Extraction Model using AI Document Center. During the Extraction Model creation wizard (Steps 1–6), the final step displays the list of objects that will be created ( 4 AI Skills and 2 Process Models). After clicking “Confirm”, I receive a success message indicating that the Extraction Model has been created successfully. However, the underlying objects that are supposed to be generated are not actually created. I have verified this across the entire environment and cannot find the AI Skills or Process Models that were listed in the final step. Because these objects are missing, when I try to run the extraction from the UI, the process fails with an error indicating that the required Process Model cannot be found.
