We are experiencing strange behaviour with file upload. Whenever we see Document

We are experiencing strange behaviour with file upload. Whenever we see Document tab from designer we are seeing only 1173 MB as available storage limit for one particular user. Eventhough we increased user guota to 2047 MB it still showing 1173 MB inspite of fact that user's private knowledge center is of 0 kb.
Where additional 874 MB disappear. Because if we are setting quota to 2047 then I should be able to see 2047 MB as available limit instead of 1173 MB.
Also we tried setting 0 as quota limit but it's still restricting itself to 250 MB insist of make it as unlimited quota. Can you please check and let us know where remaining quota is being utilized.I believe if private KC is empty then available limit should be equal to max quota provided thorugh designer-->document--.Administration...

Yes we removed this user from System group "Document Administrator" as this user was not supposed to be in this group anymore.

umeshkumarn, we are having the same problem on 7.2 version. If we change the storage limit for one particular user to "0=unlimited" this doesn`t works. But if you put 2047 instead works fine.
The problem also, is that the log show for the user "No more space available" but the user has not reached the storage limit.

Yup that problem we also have. But to avoid that problem we have restricted user from accessing Private kc. And in this case eventhough users private kc was empty it was showing 200 MB over used. Then we set it to maximum 2047 MB then also it is showing 1173 MB available. If we are not able to find out where remaining 874 MB are utilized chances are there that we might get out of quota even though we are not storing anything in private kc. This is happening for only single user so far. For rest of users if private kc is 0kb then it does shows available limit as per user's storage quota.
