Types of user's in Appian for Licensing cost

Hi,

Can anyone clarify on following questions with sample use cases, we have seen this in Appian pricing sheet.

1. What is an external input user?

Ans: An External Input User are users external to the licensee organization have the ability to submit forms/requests to the app.

2. What is an infrequent user?

Ans: An Infrequent User has up to four, 24-hour sessions per month.

  • External Users -

    1. Third party vendors like Agents, Franchisee, service providers who uses one or more of your Appian apps to provide inputs needed for a application
    2. Providing Appian access to your customers - either directly or via embedding Appian in a different customer facing web application

    In the above scenarios, the users are not directly associated with your organisation. But they still need to access your Appian env to do their part of the workflow

    Infrequent Users - 

    1. Audit team might need access to do audits but not on a daily basis
