Appian Community and Appian Academy are being upgraded. From July 24–August 3, the Appian Community will be in read-only mode. During this time, the site will be read-only and user registration will be disabled. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but a more secure, stable, and performant Community experience is coming soon!
The new Appian Community launches August 3, followed by Appian Academy on August 7. During the migration, Appian Community Edition, Appian Academy, Documentation, Certifications, Instructor-led Customer Training, Partner Sales Training & Accreditation, and Forum (for Appian Partners and Customers only) will remain available.

L1 and L2 don't work now. Appian has now a new set of certifications.
To do any one of these, you need to have the previous one. Like for Senior, you need an associate. Here if you have an active L2, then you can directly attempt Lead.
I have Associate (equivalent to L1) but which expired on jul 31st, with this can i attempt senior certification?
Yes, with the active L2, you should be able to directly attempt Senior or Lead.
Even L1(Associate) is expired, we can attempt L2(Senior) you mean? (Hoping that we dont need to attempt L1 again even it is expired and i can start with L2)
In simple language, you can attempt an equivalent or higher certification.
