Hi,
We are getting a Script error on screen as soon as we launch Tempo interface. The attachment has the details.
The customer is using IE8 and Appian 7.3. However, when I tried to use IE9 for launching the tempo, it works fine. Appian 7.3 System Requirements says that it supports IE8, 9 and 10.
I have compared the IE settings for both the browsers and it still does not work.
Any help regarding will be very helpful....

1. Install the latest hotfix for your Appian version to make sure you are not missing any relevant recent fixes
forum.appian.com/.../Hotfixes
2. Open runtime_ear|ear/suite.ear/custom.properties and review the values of
conf.suite.SCHEME=
conf.suite.SERVER_AND_PORT=
you need to make sure the match the exact URL you are using to access Appian. The error you are seeing suggests there's a mismatch between those settings and the URL you are using in the browser.
For the example above the URL would be
myserver.appiancorp.com:8080/suite
while for these other example
conf.suite.SCHEME=https
conf.suite.SERVER_AND_PORT=myserver.appiancorp.com
it would be
myserver.appiancorp.com/suite
One more example
conf.suite.SCHEME=http
conf.suite.SERVER_AND_PORT=myserver.appiancorp.com
would be
myserver.appiancorp.com/suite

I have asked the server admins to verify these setting and we have verified them 15 days back when all of the properties look OK as above. Also, we are facing this issue only on IE8 and not on IE9 which concerns me since IE8 is supported for 7.3.

Hi Ed,
Hotfix A has been already installed during migrating it from 671 to 7.3. I may be wrong but I believe installing new version of hot fix will cause effect on kdb's.
