Cucumber version upgrade locator issue

Hello Team, There seems to be major issue post Appian was upgraded 23.2 to one of our environment yesterday. All the test scripts for our application are failing since it seems yesterday's update have introduced new locators. Same issue was observed by other Appian users as well which can be seen on community page https://community.appian.com/b/appmarket/posts/cucumber-for-appian

Are there any solutions which can help prevent happening this? Or is there any way Appian communicate to us letting know that there will be a change in locators? I could not find it in release notes
