#PDF from Docx Smart service Hi All

I am using the PDF From Docx smart service, the PDF is generated correctly except for a section that contains a table where the general information regarding a user is displayed. Inside it the Email field data is always overlapping with other column data. Although in the source Docx the Email field is wrapped correctly inside the column.
Can someone help me with this problem?

Thanks.

  • Yes, I agree that you are using that Smart Service. That Smart service depends on OpenOffice installed in your environment (the Dev. machine where Appian is installed, your dev. server). I just wanted to know the version of OpenOffice that you are using. So, the quality of PDF output depends on OpenOffice conversion. Even we had a similar problem. There is one solution. You can either install a new verion of OpenOffice, or use LibreOffice(www.libreoffice.org/.../) instead of OpenOffice. LibreOffice is fork of OpenOffice with huge bug fixes and enhancements. It can convert MS-Office files to PDF with excellent quality. We have used it in a project and it converts to PDF flawlessly.
