Adding a new language to the appian evironment. In this, when i go thru the documentation at:

forum.appian.com/.../Adding_a_New_Language
It read,
"Once you have added your desired locales to the custom locale-config*.xml file, translate all text from Java, JSP, and XML files to the new languages that have been configured for the system."
Does this means we need to have our own translate texts for the entire appian instance??
Any recommendation in this is useful....

  • Raghunadan, please bear in mind that enabling a new language will not automatically translate the end user's forms. It will only allow you to design different forms for different locale.
Are the developers going to use 21 languages as well? If its' only the runtime-form that are are interested to have these translations applied to, there are other means of achieving the same. The addition of new language applies to the Appian framework (such as the apps portal, designer)
