A new issue has been occurring since we upgraded to IE11.
When opening attachments in Appian with Chinese characters in the name (double byte characters). The characters are being translated to garbage and the file extension gets dropped. The user is only given the option to save the file locally or cancel. See attached for example.
This problem does not occur in Google Chrome, however most users prefer IE 11.

Seems to be an issue with IE11 and UTF-8 encoding. See connect.microsoft.com/.../ie-11-does-not-support-decoding-the-filename-parameter-of-content-disposition-http-header-when-using-mime-encoded-word-syntax-generated-by-an-asp-net-handler

I don't think there's a workaround to make IE11 download the files with the right name.
