Package Deployment -
If we are having fn!appy (rule!yourRuleName, { array }) inside a script node output, then Appian Designer feature Missing Precedents doesn’t find the rule yourRuleName as precedents.
Is there any particular reason for this ?

This is a known issue. I believe it has been fixed in more recent releases. What version are you on?

If you use the syntax fn!apply(rule!yourRuleName(_), {array}) then yourRuleName will be picked up as a precedent.

Has it got some thing to do with syntax error? I remember reading in the documentation somewhere that the syntax errors results in inability to trace relationships. @joshl seems to be right as per my knowledge.

We are using 7.10 & i have tried apply(rule!test, {"a","b"}), and it doesn't find rule!test as precedent for that application having only PM.

Perhaps it hasn't been fixed. Regardless, Josh is correct, the rule will show up in Missing Precedents if you use his syntax.
