@peterk Re question 2 - If you haven't explored the Shared Components for the usecase, it would be worth having a look at 'Content Search Services' at https://forum.appian.com/suite/tempo/records/type/components/item/i8BCLGOdlMUpdGVqT-RV7oRg74uEGJO5C4RMmLnmhKs8elnxZ_scxWJw-ITH-XACw/view/summary though am not sure how much help it would be of to you as I haven't implemented it till date. Please make a note that the shared component is not cloud approved.

You should be able to integrate with the Content Manager using Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) interface. Appian has these connection functions, available for interfaces via SAIL screens:

Also there are some related shared components available, just search for CMI or CMIS.

@peterk Not sure if integration with IBM content manager is possible, but if you are not aware of and want to explore this area, the shared component namely 'CMIS Browser' at https://forum.appian.com/suite/tempo/records/type/components/item/i8BCLGOdlMUpdGVqT-RV7oRg74uEGJO5yEeO2M3BXrz4douF4iVeSHrv_yQp7_0bQ/view/summary is an excellent place to start with as per my knowledge.

I didn't integrate with IBM content manager but if it supports CMIS you can use out of the box CMIS connector or plugin as suggested by other practitioners. With out of the box connector our issue was it only supports basic http authentication and I didn't explore the plugin.
