When creating an interface (Appian 7.10), we can now define the input variables as their actual CDT instead of using Any Type. The problem I'm seeing is if you update the CDT, the CDT in the input parameter is not updated when you run impact analysis. Is there a way to update the parameter definitions without opening up every interface to do it? Is it better to just stick with Any Type?

  • Hi simples, after deleting then importing an updated CDT in Data Management, click on the CDT name to open it up. In the upper right next to the Save button there's a menu (the "gear") where you can choose "Check Outdated Dependents". If you have any dependent objects, it will tell you how many and give you an "Update All" button. If something doesn't update, there's an error log that you can look at. I've attached a couple of screen shots. Does that answer your question?
