Hi All,
Was wondering for those who use the "Home" application as the the default landing page for all users who log into the Appian application portal, what content did you provide on this page?
Do you have something similar to Appian Forum where users are instructed to use the application selection drop down or do you provide links to the all the applications the user has access to on the page itself?
Thanks....

The new Tempo portal is the default portal for 6.7 onwards. This allows you to have the tempo feed as the landing page followed by actions where you can perform actions across all the applications you have permission for. I suggest you look into this.

It is not possible to modify the Appian's default Home app. However, another application can be set as the default and in that page links to other applications can be displayed. This can be done by creating a channel of type Links or Web Content With Dynamic Data. The URL to access an application will be like the following example -
your_url/.../URLShortcut
The URLShortcut can be found in the Application package.

We use the application portal as the home page. We use this to provide some useful information to users including a random hints and tips, latest news from the BPM, training guides and warnings to be used to notify users of downtime etc. Each of these are pulled via query rules and uses ncolumn tables to format. The most feedback we have received was around adding links to the application training guides to the home page. As for showing uses the different applications we use the standard dropdown, this way it falls in line with their permissions and it doesn’t need editing every time you want to add a new app. Hope this helps.
