How I can use Appian API? forum.appian.com/.../. how can i access the methods which are there in Appian libaray as web service outside Appian? Can some one give me an example?

Thanks Stefan - So, I have to write new custom plugin to make use of this methods from Appian API which are not already available as functions. Is there any other simple way to achieve this requirement because we runs on cloud server and not having much access to the server for plugin development. Can we directly do plugin development on cloud servers by accessing these libraries? I guess not possible!
