Change Document Extension

How can we change extension of a document which is uploaded in Appian. We want to change .xlsx file to .csv so when user opens it it can be seen as csv file instead of xlsx file. Please suggest.

There might be an extension that grants this functionality, though I'd have to double check.

Keep in mind, though, that unless you've done something special with your .xlsx file, it won't open like a CSV because its contents will not actually resemble that of a .csv at all. Simply changing the extension under normal circumstances won't change the contents.

I could see only one shared component - Image Utilities - that works for document images. Other than that I could see no component that serves this purpose. You may need to drill through the Public Java API: docs.appian.com/.../Document.html
