Error while creating Data Store Entity for Virtual Database

Please advise me am getting below error which trying to create a data store for Virtual Data Base. Please find the screen shot for same.

    How did you configure this JDBC connection? In the Admin Console or in the JBoss data sources?

    My very basic understanding is that Virtual Data Base wraps other RDBMS. It is possible that this is not supported by libraries/drivers that Appian uses - given the Hibernate error message, it seems that this kind of connection cannot be resolved to a known connection type.
